Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a motivated laborer to support sewer maintenance and related field operations in Milwaukee. You will operate pumps, assist in inspections, and perform routine repairs within safety guidelines.

The role requires basic tools handling, physical stamina, and the ability to follow safety procedures. CDL is preferred, with opportunities for training and career growth. This is a hands-on, on-site position at multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related labors experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and perform minor repairs on pumps, compressors and other equipment.
• Safety training and compliance with procedures are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and repair pumps, compressors and other mechanical equipment.
• Inspect and maintain manholes, sewers, tanks and related structures.
• Clean and maintain pump stations, plants and drainage facilities.
• Assist in site inspection and repair work and report malfunctions.
• Perform general maintenance of facilities, buildings and grounds.
