Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in keeping a multi-unit community safe and well-maintained. You will help identify issues, perform repairs, and support preventive maintenance programs to prevent problems.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation of work orders, and cooperation with vendors and staff. On-call and weekend coverage may be required to ensure resident satisfaction and property integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience.
• Some trade school certificates in HVAC, electrical and plumbing are valued.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repair tasks to keep property in good condition.
• Documents resolutions to all work orders and maintains preventive maintenance records.
• Assists in scheduling and performing routine and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Keeps grounds neat and safe, reports hazards to management.
