Job summary

CCI is seeking a Jr Maintenance Technician in Spokane, WA to maintain and repair our property and support the maintenance team. You’ll perform grounds care, interior and exterior cleaning, and basic repairs, helping uphold safety and upkeep across our multi-family assets.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance technician experience.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy required.
• Landscaping and cleaning experience helpful.
• A valid and current driver’s license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
• Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanical systems.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming of all floors as required.
• Ensure cleanliness of management offices, clubrooms, kitchens, common areas, and bathrooms as necessary.
• Regularly empty all trash cans on a daily basis and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Conduct daily garbage collection around the property.
• Assist the maintenance team with tasks such as painting and fulfilling work orders as needed.
• Utilize a range of skills including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures.
