Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a maintenance technician to support production, shipping, and facility equipment. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and rebuilds, with emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Reading manuals and blueprints, you will work to minimize downtime and uphold safety and housekeeping standards. The role requires 2+ years in related fields, proficiency with PLCs, and the ability to use 480V tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Must have own maintenance tools and be able to work with 480 volt systems
• Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
• Experience with PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley, Siemens and Direct Logic
• Knowledge of welding processes including MIG/TIG is a plus
• Must be able to follow safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and rebuild production, shipping, and facility equipment with minimal downtime
• Respond to maintenance calls from production, shipping and management
• Assist with installing new equipment and scheduling maintenance projects
• Read and interpret drawings and manuals
• Ensure equipment meets safety requirements and OSHA standards
• Maintain accurate departmental records
• Coordinate with contractors as needed
