In the Maintenance Technician role, you will support production reliability by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing mechanical and electrical repairs. You’ll also assist with continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades to help maintain high production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Support senior technicians during advanced repairs while developing safe and effective maintenance skills.
- Complete basic electrical and mechanical projects under guidance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
- Install, repair, and replace electrical components such as wiring, conduits, switch boxes, and lighting.
- Assist with equipment installation, modifications, and relocation efforts.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics to ensure accurate repairs.
- Adhere to all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Qualifications
- Practical experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and robotics.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and understand ladder logic.
- Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Siemens Step 7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT; CMMS experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work rotating or non-standard shifts as needed.
