Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motors, sensors, and controls.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting; PLC programming a plus.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and use PLC diagnostics to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
