Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and documentation of process and utility equipment across manufacturing and lab facilities. The role requires willingness to work nights and weekends and adherence to GMPs and SOPs.

You will operate within a compliant environment, complete work orders in the CMMS, and collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure reliable equipment and production support.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of GMP or other regulated environments.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and P&IDs.
• Experience documenting maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing, and documentation of equipment.
• Maintain and repair utility systems including steam, chilled water, and HVAC.
• Complete safety and quality documentation per GMPs and SOPs.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and complete work orders in CMMS.
