Job summary

Amgen’s Maintenance team in the United States seeks a Sr Maintenance Technician I to support plant start-up and ongoing operations. You will provide technical guidance across Manufacturing, Laboratories and Utilities, ensuring GMP compliance and safety.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. During construction and post-construction, you will perform installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, while developing SOPs and

Qualifications

• High school/GED with 2 years of maintenance experience or military experience.
• Associate’s degree with 6 months of maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support plant start-up and daily operations.
• Support the maintenance program in GMP and safety compliance.
• Develop, write and implement maintenance documentation (SOPs, CCMS, NC, WO, JP, HRA, JHA).
• Ensure safety of staff during construction, start-up and maintenance activities.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and testing of process and utility equipment.
• Review maintenance reports and ensure accurate documentation.
