Job summary
Amgen is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join the Facilities & Engineering team in Thousand Oaks. You will perform calibration, maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment used in process control and building systems across the site.
You will complete quality and safety documentation, communicate effectively with system operators and stakeholders, and support on-call rotations including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school/GED plus 1 year of maintenance/operations/mfg work or military experience, or
- an Associate's degree.
- Experience with instrumentation, calibration and metrology programs.
- Experience with sanitary processing equipment and systems is preferred.
- Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment and with CMMS.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled calibration, maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment across the site.
- Complete quality and safety documentation in a GMP/SOP-aligned manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed.
- Ensure documentation and communication with system operators and stakeholders.
- Support on-call rotations and shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays.
