Job summary

Serenity Light is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Concord, CA to handle a wide range of building and grounds tasks, follow work orders, and coordinate with staff and contractors. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and able to perform duties in various weather and safety conditions.

The role calls for up to 3 years of maintenance experience or less, CPR/First Aid certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3 years or less (minimum of 3 months) of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Possess CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders to identify materials needed to complete tasks.
• Operates power tools and vehicles and keeps them in proper working order.
• Cooperates with staff and outside contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Perform grounds maintenance including lawn care, snow removal, and plant care.
• Maintain inventory, equipment records, and preventive maintenance logs.
• Establish and conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance programs.
• Respond to emergency situations and emergency systems.
• Move-in/move-out inspections and related duties.
• Ensure teamwork with Maintenance Manager for smooth operations.
• Travel to various office or facility locations as required.
