Responsibilities

• Provides basic preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems in mainly mechanical power transmission and will work to build stronger skills in electrical and PLC/controls and welding/fabrication.
• Diagnose simple mechanical power transmission issues visually or audibly apparent at the single component level.
• Adheres to all applicable safety standards and promotes a safe work environment by attending safety meetings and required trainings and addressing all safety concerns.
• Will require assistance/supervision in preventative/corrective maintenance tasks.
• May participate in smaller scope projects.
• May be required to work a flexible schedule including all days and shifts as the business need dictates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
