Job summary

FedEx Maintenance Technician II supports industrial maintenance for material handling systems, performing preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems, including mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls. You will troubleshoot components and follow safety standards while using EAM software to log data.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with two years of Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics experience; certificates are a plus.

Qualifications

Two years in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in two specialty skills.
High school diploma or GED; related certificates encouraged.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret manuals; familiarity with EAM software.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls issues; rely on higher level technicians for complex decisions.
Follow safety standards and attend trainings; promote a safe work environment.
Enter and retrieve prescribed data in the EAM system.
May participate in smaller scope projects and flex schedules as needed.
