Neighborly Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support our on-site maintenance team at our Oregon properties. This role handles routine repairs, make-ready turns, groundskeeping, and resident service requests while upholding safety and Neighborly standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of maintenance experience, knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines, and strong communication skills. Expect on-site work, occasional after-hours calls, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance repair experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks per property standards.
• Assist with apartment make-ready and turnover inspections.
• Support groundskeeping and property appearance.
• Handle work orders and safety inspections.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety practices.
• Provide courteous service to residents and team members.
