Canteen is hiring for a full-time Mechanic I at our Santa Fe Springs location. You will operate and maintain industrial equipment including HVAC systems, boilers, generators and steam equipment, and read meters to verify conditions. The role requires hands-on repair work, parts replacement, and reliable service to customers and colleagues.

The ideal candidate has tool experience and plumbing background. A Type I Refrigeration Certification and a valid Non-CDL Class C license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous tools and plumbing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operates and maintains equipment including HVAC systems, high‑pressure boilers, generators and steam equipment.
• Reads and records information from meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.
• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
• Repairs and replaces worn or defective parts; tests machine operation after repair.
• Maintains equipment inventory and ensures a clean, safe work environment.
