Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Canteen team in Garden Grove, CA is hiring a full-time Mechanic I to operate and maintain equipment, including HVAC and boilers. The role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read meters and diagnose issues.

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, with training provided. This is a great entry into the operations of a leading foodservice company with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires Type I Refrigeration Certification.
• Requires general mechanical knowledge and understanding of machinery.
• Non-CDL Class C driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains equipment including HVAC systems, boilers, generators and steam equipment.
• Reads and records meter/gauge data to verify operating conditions.
• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs and services customers.
