Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to oversee daily engineering operations across the lodge. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and coordinating with vendors to keep guest areas safe and functional.

The role requires technical training, relevant certifications, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with basic computer tools and safety procedures is essential. This is a full-time, on-site position in Webster, TX.

Qualifications

• Must have technical degree or equivalent training.
• Trade-related certifications preferred in HVAC or electrical fields.
• Experience in hospitality or related industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency with office software and basic database tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues in guestrooms and public areas.
• Operate and identify shut-offs, document safety and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety procedures and daily records are kept up to date.
• Coordinate with vendors and report to engineering leadership.
