Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, engines, valves and related equipment across facility settings. You will learn to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment while ensuring safe operation and compliance with safety policies.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, along with 6 months to 2 years in a related position and familiarity with reading blueprints and manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to two years of experience in a related position.
• Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools preferred.
• Ability to read specifications, blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, lubrication and minor adjustments on machines and equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; report issues promptly.
• Perform facility maintenance including replacing light bulbs, paint, and fixtures as needed.
