Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, installation, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and related systems. You will work on pumps, engines, conveyors and process equipment in our facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, 6 months to 2 years of related experience, and familiarity with CMMS. On-site conditions involve exposure to outdoor environments and travel for training as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; read, write and comprehend English and follow instructions.
• Six months to two years of related maintenance experience with ability to read specifications and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance, lubrication and minor adjustments on machines and related equipment.
• Learns to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and replaces defective parts.
• Performs facility maintenance including lighting, flooring, doors and general upkeep as needed.
• Assists in estimating time and material costs for projects and supports other plant areas as directed.
• Operates vehicles for plant operational tasks and complies with safety and environmental policies.
