Job summary

Veolia in North America in Florida is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform inspections, maintenance and installations across water treatment facilities.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, dismantle equipment for repairs and reassemble for safe operation, often outdoors in challenging weather.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong safety focus and the ability to read blueprints and manuals while coordinating with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use PPE and meters.
• Must possess a valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, generators and valves.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect equipment, dismantle and reassemble for repairs.
• Estimate time and materials for projects.
• Work outdoors in Florida weather and operate plant equipment.
