Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine, preventive and repair work across multiple skill areas. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, dismantle and reassemble components, and assist with facility upkeep.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and working in an operations environment with occasional outdoor exposure. A high school diploma or GED and basic licenses are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; able to read/write English and follow instructions.
• 1–2 years experience in a related maintenance role preferred.
• Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools; background with shop tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of meters, gauges, scales and basic measurement devices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; dismantle and reassemble as needed.
• Repair or replace light fixtures, doors, floors, and related facilities.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and assist with on-site safety and environmental policies.
• Estimate time and material costs for various projects.
• Work in the plant operations environment and support other maintenance tasks.
