Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in equipment repair and preventative maintenance within our Arkansas poultry processing facility.

The role requires welding, electrical or mechanical repair skills, and knowledge of refrigeration or hydraulics to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently according to production needs. The candidate will work with engineers and vendors, participate in team initiatives, and adhere to Simmons' safety and Lean operating

Qualifications

• Experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration or hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, corrects or affects equipment to meet production requirements.
• Troubleshoots equipment and consults with engineers and vendors as needed.
• Follows Simmons' safety policies and government regulations for safety, environment, and handling of products.
• Participates in team meetings and supports team concepts, programs and policies to achieve synergy.
• Recognizes and communicates areas needing improvement to team leaders and supports corrective actions.
