Qualifications

• Experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration or hydraulics.
• Industry experience in poultry or food processing is preferred.
• Must have good command of English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, correct or adjust equipment to meet production needs.
• Consult with engineers and vendors as needed.
• Perform layout work for projects and troubleshoot equipment.
• Adhere to Simmons operating systems, safety, quality and lean practices.
• Participate in team activities, meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
