Job summary

Simmons Prepared Foods Inc is seeking a Maintenance Tech I (B Shift) for on-site work in the Arkansas facility. The role focuses on assistive maintenance, repairs and preventative tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently for production.

Qualifications

• Experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair.
• Experience with refrigeration or hydraulics.
• Industry preference: poultry or food processing.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, corrects or affects equipment as needed to ensure equipment operates correctly and efficiently according to production requirements.
• Consults with Engineers and vendors as needed. Accomplishes layout work for each project as needed. Will be able to troubleshoot equipment.
• Meets safety requirements in accomplishing responsibilities and adheres to company policies and safety regulations.
• Participates as a team member, supports cohesion, attends meetings, and aids in implementing team programs and policies.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
