Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance operations at Port Wentworth (Savannah), GA.

You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, fixtures, and systems to keep facilities safe and operational. The ideal candidate has hands-on plumbing experience, 2–3 years QA/QC experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on plumbing experience required.
• 2–3 years of QA/QC experience preferred.
• Journeyman electrician certification or HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in operations and maintenance in an industrial, large commercial, or logistics distribution environment preferred.
• Good standing with the applicable state licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
• Assist technicians and facility attendants in responding to work orders as needed.
• Create and update task orders and work orders in the CMMS.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Repair lighting, doors, fixtures, and basic building components.
• Inspect subcontractor work for contract compliance and quality.
