Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician to maintain and repair automated material handling equipment and facility systems. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and collaboration with lead technicians to meet tight schedules.

You will operate Burlington-owned vehicles for exterior and yard tasks, travel to nearby facilities for parts, and work toward a promotion to Skilled Technician/Tech II after demonstrating proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transferrable mechanical skills and basic electrical knowledge are necessary.
• Familiarity with handheld devices and mobile apps is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair MHE including conveyors, sorters, scales, and printers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment (PTACs, HVAC, compressors, dryers, balers).
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and use tools like multi-meters to diagnose faults.
