Job summary

Ash Grove Cement is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of mechanical systems in a cement manufacturing facility. This role requires completing the Maintenance Trainee program or equivalent experience and emphasizes preventive maintenance and safety.

The position supports kilns, mills, and material-handling equipment, with a Monday–Friday 6:30am–2:30pm shift. Comprehensive benefits are provided and growth opportunities exist within CRH family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of the Ash Grove Maintenance Trainee program or equivalent outside experience.
• Ability to safely perform core maintenance tasks as defined in the skills matrix.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of mechanical systems in a cement manufacturing facility.
• Perform routine maintenance inspections and basic repairs.
• Install or assist with installation of new plant equipment and facilities, including major maintenance and capital projects.
• Coordinate with electricians and other departments for cross-functional work.
• Operate plant and mobile equipment to complete routine maintenance tasks.
