Job summary

Ash Grove Cement is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician I to join our team in a 7:30am-3:30pm shift. The role involves maintaining and repairing plant equipment, aligning heavy machinery, and following strict safety guidelines.

Pay starts at $22+ per hour with a full benefits package and opportunities for growth. The repair and maintenance work includes Kiln and Finish Mill components, conveyors, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent is required.
• Maintenance training or certification preferred (Millwright/Industrial).
• Must understand and apply safety guidelines and procedures.
• Willingness to learn, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Align sheaves and V-Belts using precision equipment.
• Assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect and repair Kiln parts including noses rings, tires, rollers, thrust systems and girth gears.
• Perform precision alignment using dial indicators and lasers.
