Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our team in a plant environment. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect and repair plant equipment, and support major projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels and instructions.
• Prior maintenance experience in plant/MRO environment preferred.
• Experience with rigging and basic millwright practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety guidelines and perform routine maintenance inspections.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment such as pumps and rotating equipment.
• Install new equipment and assist with major maintenance projects.
• Coordinate with electricians and other departments for cross-functional work.
• Operate shop tools and safe rigging practices during maintenance.
