Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will repair and maintain apartment community properties, prepare units for occupancy, and manage service requests while ensuring safety and compliance.

Excellent customer service and independent work ethic are essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and tools. EPA 608 license and driver licensing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in maintenance/repair or groundskeeping.
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Own basic tools as allowed by state laws.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within deadlines.
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain OSHA and environmental compliance where applicable.
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment.
• Complete required logs and reports in a timely manner.
• Uphold company policies and deliver excellent customer service.

• Assist in preventative maintenance planning.
• Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
• Support on-call duties and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
• Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
• Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
• Assist in the property's preventative maintenance plan
• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
• Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Education

• High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience, or Groundskeeper experience
• Proficiency in maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
• Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Skills & Certifications

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license strongly preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
