Job summary

Mayfair Management Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our property services team. You will perform maintenance across grounds and apartment units, focusing on preventive, corrective, and emergency tasks with an emphasis on quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has HVAC experience, owns basic tools, and can read and interpret technical procedures. Strong communication with residents and colleagues is essential; a team player mindset is required for career

• HVAC required.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations; ability to write legibly and clearly; ability to communicate with residents and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the apartment community and its facilities.
• Handle preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance of the property.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electrical, appliances and A/C.

Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties aimed at maintaining and enhancing the apartment community. Ideal candidates must possess an aptitude for general building maintenance, custodial & grounds will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of your assigned apartment community.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the property's maintenance including but not limited to the physical grounds, preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
