Job summary

Foresight Asset Management in San Antonio, TX is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep multifamily properties safe, attractive, and fully operational for residents.

You’ll diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and more under the Maintenance Lead, support turnkey work for vacants, and help enforce safety standards while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification Type I & II required.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to work any day of the week, 52 weeks per year, including overtime and on-call shifts.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major appliances, HVAC systems (EPA Certification required), basic to intermediate plumbing, basic to intermediate electrical work, sheetrock, carpentry, pool care, roof/gutter repairs, wallpaper/painting, foundation and sidewalk repairs, irrigation, landscaping, and ice/snow removal.
• Work under the guidance of the Maintenance Lead to prioritize and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with turnkey operations to prepare vacant units for rent-ready status.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs to preserve property condition and reduce liabilities.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to ensure safety and minimize risk.
• Assist the Maintenance Lead with budget adherence, obtaining bids, and purchasing supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies.
• Participate in company meetings and training to maintain skills.
• Maintain records of service requests, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and supervisors to ensure high customer service and curb appeal.
