Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver exceptional service to residents and maintain property systems. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair, plus turnover work to ready apartments for new residents.

Candidates should have experience in building maintenance or trades education, strong communication, and the ability to work on-call, including weekends. The position is on-site with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25–50 pounds of force frequently and 10–20 pounds of force constantly.
• Reliable transportation to work and on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and service mentality.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with various software.
• Thirst for learning and growth within the role.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents through excellent service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain building safety and beauty through upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after-hours emergencies.
