Job summary

Bozzuto seeks a Maintenance Technician to deliver proactive maintenance and responsive service across residential communities. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs while preparing units for move-ins and ensuring safety and cleanliness throughout the property.

Ideal candidates bring trade-related education or experience, strong communication and a customer-first mindset, and the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as part of an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25–50 pounds of force frequently and 10–20 pounds continuously.
• Reliable transportation to work and on-call events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents through service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain building safety and appearance through general upkeep and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
