Job summary

Bozzuto seeks a Maintenance Technician in Washington to maintain and improve residential communities. You’ll handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, prepare vacant apartments, and support resident satisfaction through proactive service.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Willingness to respond to on-call emergencies.
• Physical ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds frequently.
• Reliable transportation and good communication skills.
• Service mentality and a thirst for learning.

Responsibilities

• Showing care and concern for residents through service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Preserving building safety and cleanliness through upkeep, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Providing residents with outstanding customer service.
• Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after-hour emergencies.
