Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Maplewood, New Jersey. The role encompasses diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks to keep apartment homes in top condition.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week on-site position. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to communicate with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical repair.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to accommodate on-call schedule in rotation.
• Communication with team and residents for customer service.
• Familiarity with safety policies, PPE and SDS.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Maintains safety culture and follows Vivmark policies.
