Job summary

Rockdale Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician HVAC to ensure the upkeep of the building and grounds through routine tasks and on-going work orders. The role includes diagnosing and repairing basic HVAC systems and assisting with general property maintenance on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• HVAC (A/C) certification required.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full-time with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation.
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
