TBD Falls of Deer Park Apartments is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician HVAC to maintain the property and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general upkeep. This role involves completing work orders, making ready units, and responding to emergencies on an on-call basis.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience with ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.
• HVAC certification required and able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Ladder safety proficiency and ability to climb safely.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit prep.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and AC units.
• Identify and fix plumbing leaks and minor pipe issues.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on on-call rotation.

Falls of Deer Park Apartments is currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician HVAC to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.

Requirements

• HVAC experience — able to troubleshoot and perform basic HVAC repairs.
• HVAC Certification — must hold a valid HVAC certification and be able to perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ladder safety — must be able to climb and work from a ladder safely.
• Work order basics — must understand how to complete, update, and close work orders accurately.
