Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Maintenance Technician to upkeep building exteriors, common areas, and amenities. You will diagnose defects, complete make-ready tasks, perform routine inspections, and coordinate with vendors to keep properties safe and attractive.

A strong focus on safety and documentation is required. Applicants should have experience with hand/tools, painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, and appliance repair, plus EPA refrigerant certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine maintenance and repairs on residential property assets.
• EPA refrigerant certifications required for certified technicians.
• Professionalism, effective communication, and ability to read/write notes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins (
• make-ready
• process) and inspect completed work.
• Manage materials, tools, and vendor coordination; document work performed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.
