Gaines Investment Trust seeks a Community Maintenance Technician for La Hacienda Apartments in Tucson, AZ. You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and prep homes for new residents.

We value hands-on problem-solvers with mechanical aptitude, reliable attendance, and the ability to work independently or with the onsite team. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or related skilled trades.
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Physically capable of hands-on work and using tools safely.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Completing resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems.
• Performing general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Preparing vacant apartments for new residents, including completing repairs and ensuring homes are move-in ready.
• Inspecting apartments, common areas, and building systems for maintenance needs.
• Assisting with the upkeep of community amenities, grounds, and common areas.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Providing professional and courteous service when interacting with residents.
• Working closely with the onsite team to keep the community operating at a high standard.
