Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician at The Allure at Edinburgh in Chesapeake, VA. You will prep vacant apartments, handle work orders, perform general maintenance, and keep grounds inviting.

We value hands-on skills, reliability, and good communication with residents. This role offers on-call shifts, weekends, training, and a supportive team that rewards quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill and urgency.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
• Stay on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride.
