Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks at an assigned apartment community. You will respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and help maintain safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, a valid EPA Type I/II is preferred, and the ability to work a rotating on-call schedule, weekends, and holidays. Must live within 30 miles of the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment industry.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state or federal law.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs thoroughly and timely.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tools and supplies.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors and supervisors.
• Adhere to budget guidelines and safety programs.
• Address complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain records and keep common areas clean and safe.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
• Assist with move-in/move-out and maintenance turn events.
