Job summary

Greystar in Cleveland, OH is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and amenities meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete work orders from residents while following policies.

The role covers make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and general upkeep. Compliance with OSHA and local requirements, a valid driver’s license, and EPA refrigerant certifications are required; the position offers

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet policy, safety, and code requirements.
• Completes the eel-make-readyor vacant units, including pre-move-out inspection and punch list creation.
• Tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies maintenance about re-orders.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities and performs light cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
