Job summary
Related Management Company in Boston, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties in top condition. You will perform essential upkeep, respond to service requests, and coordinate with residents and management to maintain safe, comfortable communities.
The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Willing to participate in on-call rotation and provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape.
- Complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep systems in good working order.
- Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frame.
- Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds; address safety issues with management.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities with supervisor.
- Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to prepare site for inspections.
- Maintain workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 standards.
- Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs.
