Job summary

Jobot Consulting is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep residents safe, comfortable, and happy in their homes. You will perform general maintenance and repairs in multifamily buildings, handle make-readies, and support snow removal and grounds work.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 2+ years of customer service, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Expect an on-call rotation with after-hours and weekend shifts; pay is $23–$25 per hour with generous benefits and growth

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Hands-on carpentry, plumbing, or mechanical experience; apartment maintenance preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle report (required).
2+ years customer service experience preferred.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work a weekend and evening on-call schedule in addition to a Monday-Friday schedule.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb stairs, and work on ladders or scaffolding.
Entrepreneurial mindset and high integrity: direct, truthful, admits mistakes, operates on trust.

Responsibilities

General maintenance of multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied units.
Repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
Make-readies, including cleaning and painting during unit turns.
Snow removal and grounds support.
Regular, professional, and courteous communication with property managers and residents.
On-call rotation, responding to emergency calls after hours and on weekends.
Light support at a smaller sister property about 45 minutes away.
