Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior upkeep across our communities. You’ll work under the Maintenance Supervisor to address repairs, preventive maintenance, and resident requests, contributing to safe, well-maintained homes.

The role requires basic hvac/plumbing/electrical skills, strong customer service, and flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Growth and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Understanding of Bell Core Values.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities, based on staffing levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Always show respect for residents and community staff, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform routine interior and exterior Community maintenance, as well as equipment maintenance as scheduled and requested.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff; report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and receive proper authority before entering resident apartments.
• Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Work with vendors as instructed, such as landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
