Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide skilled, professional service to residents. You will work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and related systems, with opportunities for advancement to Maintenance Supervisor.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work on-call hours, and a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.
• Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and any other aspect as needed.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days and turnover checklist completion.
• Common area maintenance including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, pressure washing, and window cleaning.
• Monitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
• Help maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for area of responsibility.
• Assume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe all safety rules.
