Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform interior and exterior maintenance across our communities. You will handle repairs, upkeep, and safety tasks while delivering excellent resident service and maintaining privacy and security within the property.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and a focus on safety. The role requires availability on weekdays, evenings, and weekends with a team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility.
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical skills.
• HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and community staff.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments.
• Keep maintenance items in safe areas to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
