Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior community maintenance tasks. You will handle repairs, electrical and plumbing work, and collaborate with vendors to ensure safety and high-quality service for residents.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma, and strong communication and customer-service skills. HVAC knowledge and related certifications are a plus, with weekend availability often required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Understanding of Bell Core Values.
• 1–3 years maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred.
• Basic repair knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications may be required depending on site.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respect residents and staff, provide excellent customer service.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report malfunctions and hazards to Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments.
• Keep maintenance items in safe areas to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, and other work.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements and maintain punctuality.
