Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of interior and exterior maintenance tasks across our communities. You will handle preventive and corrective work, respond to resident requests, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and a high school degree or equivalent.
• Understanding of Bell Core Values and a customer service orientation.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred; knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical systems.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities, based on staffing levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong customer service orientation.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance, and equipment maintenance as scheduled and requested.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries; follow all safety/OSHA requirements.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned; work with vendors for tasks like landscaping, painting, asphalt.
