Job summary

YES! Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, well-maintained, and stocked. You will interact with residents, handle service requests and inspections, and uphold safety standards.

This role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to operate vehicles and equipment, read water meters, and assist with home deliveries and setup. Prior refurbishment experience and OSHA familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete work in a timely manner, maintaining safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and report them to management.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with new home delivery and setup and report warranty work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and PPE requirements as per state law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions via snow removal and de-icing when needed.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles according to safety guidelines.
